Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together low-sodium soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, and cornflour until smooth. Chop the onion, bell peppers, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces, and mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large wok over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add the lean beef mince and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan. Stir-fry for about 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the chopped onion and broccoli, stirring for 4-5 minutes until the onion is translucent and the broccoli is vibrant green.
- Stir in the sliced bell peppers and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Pour the whisked sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the stir fry over prepared rice, garnished with spring onions and toasted sesame seeds.
