Directions
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, pour in 2 cups of your preferred milk. Warm the milk until it’s steaming hot but not boiling, about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Once the milk is heated, add 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves or 2 tea bags to the saucepan. Allow to steep for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. After steeping, carefully remove the tea leaves or tea bags from the saucepan. Reduce heat to low to meld flavors without boiling.
  4. With heat still on low, stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of honey, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Continue to gently heat the mixture for 2–3 minutes, stirring to incorporate all ingredients well.
  6. Pour the tea into your favorite cups. Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
