Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by pouring 2 cups of milk into a small saucepan and place it over medium heat. Gently warm the milk, stirring occasionally, until it becomes steaming but not boiling, around 5 minutes.
- Once the milk is steaming, add 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves or 2 tea bags directly into the saucepan. Stir the mixture and let it steep for 4-5 minutes.
- After steeping, carefully remove the tea leaves or tea bags from the saucepan. Turn down the heat to low.
- With the heat still low, stir in 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of honey, and a pinch of salt. Allow the mixture to heat gently for another 2-3 minutes.
- After letting the flavors come together, taste your Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea. If you prefer it sweeter, add more honey to taste.
- Pour the warm Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea into cups, and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra special touch.
