Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by seasoning your chicken generously with salt, cracked black pepper, and paprika. Let it sit for about 5 minutes while you heat the skillet.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until bubbling. Add the seasoned chicken and sear it for 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, pour in chicken broth and honey, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom.
  4. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the chicken and reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. If using, sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken. Cover and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with dried parsley and serve immediately, pairing with sides like garlic mashed potatoes or cucumber-tomato salad.
