Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Gently clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- Pre-cook the mushroom caps upside down on a baking sheet for 5-7 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Italian cheeses, fresh herbs, minced garlic, and breadcrumbs.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling and pack it well.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms in the baking dish and drizzle melted butter over them.
- Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 20-30 minutes until tender.
- Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and bake uncovered for another 2-3 minutes.
- Allow cooling slightly before serving.
