  • 1 package Puff Pastry thawed pre-rolled sheets
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Chopped Spinach fresh or frozen, drained if frozen
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese crumbled
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic fresh is best
  • 1 tsp Oregano or swap with basil or thyme
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Salt sea salt recommended
For the Finish
  • 1 egg Egg Wash or use milk for a dairy-free option

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until well-blended.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a floured surface to 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Spread the filling evenly over half of the puff pastry, fold over, and slice into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip into spirals.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place twisted pastries on it, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle sea salt.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy the aroma as they bake.
