Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the turkey wings dry with paper towels and season them with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and seasoned salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the turkey wings until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove wings, add sliced onions to the drippings, and sauté until caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add butter to the onions, melt it, then whisk in flour for about 2-3 minutes to create a roux.
  5. Slowly pour in chicken broth while whisking to avoid lumps. Simmer and thicken for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Return turkey wings to the skillet, coat them in gravy, and cover tightly with foil.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F for 2.5 to 3 hours until the wings are tender.
