Turkey Legs
  • 4 legs Turkey Legs Skin-on, bone-in for best flavor.

  • 4 medium Red Potatoes Any waxy potato can be used.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (176°C) and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the spice mix.
  3. Chop red potatoes, yellow onion, and carrots evenly, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and coat with spice mix.
  4. Spread seasoned vegetables across the bottom of the tray.
  5. Pat turkey legs dry, drizzle with olive oil, apply salt, and rub in the spice mix.
  6. Place turkey legs on top of vegetables and marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  7. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 2 hours for larger legs or 1 hour for smaller.
  8. Increase temperature to 400°F (200°C), remove foil, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
