Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your stovetop to medium heat and gather a large skillet. Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and slice the mushrooms.
  2. Add olive oil and butter to the hot skillet. Once the butter melts, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the garlic butter. Sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and golden.
  4. Toss in the sliced mushrooms and stir everything together. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms release moisture and the mixture melds together.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper. Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat and stir to combine, then cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice and stir in chopped parsley before serving.
