- In a large pot over medium heat, combine 6 cups of chicken broth with 2 tablespoons of grated ginger and 3 minced garlic cloves. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil, simmering for about 5 minutes.
- Once the broth is boiling, drop in the wontons. Cook them according to the package instructions, usually around 3-5 minutes, or until they float.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Let the soup simmer for another minute.
- Before serving, stir in ¼ cup of sliced green onions.
