Preparation
- Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Add sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear marinated beef in batches for 1-2 minutes until browned. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add oil, then bell peppers and onion. Sauté over medium-high for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Return beef to skillet with juices, add broth or water, and stir. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
