- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead the dough for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough, sprinkle half of the sharp cheddar cheese on the pan, then place dough on top, pressing edges to seal.
- Spread BBQ sauce over the dough, leaving a border. Evenly distribute mozzarella, remaining cheddar, red onions, bacon bits, and BBQ ribs.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheeses are melted. Let the aromas fill your kitchen.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with BBQ sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and slice to serve.
