  2. In a large mixing bowl, peel and mash the ripe bananas until smooth with a few lumps remaining (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Pour the melted butter into the mashed bananas and stir until evenly incorporated (about 30 seconds).
  4. Mix in the granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until fully combined (about 1 minute).
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and a pinch of salt over the mixture and fold them in gently until just combined (about 30 seconds).
