  • 1 cup Beef Broth can substitute with chicken broth for lighter taste
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce adjust for lower sodium versions
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 cups Swiss Cheese or alternatives like cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be substituted
  • 4 slices Hamburger Buns gluten-free buns can be used
For Cooking
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in diced onions and sliced mushrooms, cooking for 5-7 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Return browned beef to skillet and mix in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in sour cream.
  5. Cube the hamburger buns and layer them in a greased casserole dish. Pour beef mixture over bread cubes.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
