Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
- In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the greased dish, pour half of the cream sauce over, and top with half of the cheese, bacon, and green onions.
- Repeat layering with the remaining potatoes, cream sauce, cheese, bacon, and green onions.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
