  • pinch Ground Cinnamon optional but recommended

Step-by-Step Instructions for Banana Fritters
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla until well blended.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, mixing thoroughly.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined, then fold in mashed bananas.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop batter into hot oil, frying for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then place on paper towels to drain.
  6. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
