  • 1/4 cup Milk any milk alternative
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika optional
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped, or substitute dried
For the Bread
  • 1 loaf Bread French or sweet Hawaiian rolls

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roast garlic cloves with olive oil and salt for about 20 minutes until golden and soft.
  2. Slice bread in half horizontally and bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly crispy.
  3. Mash roasted garlic and mix with melted butter, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and parsley to create garlic butter custard.
  4. Dip each half of the bread in the garlic butter custard to coat.
  5. Bake coated bread for an additional 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove bread and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese, then broil for 2-3 minutes until melted and slightly charred.
  7. Slice and serve warm, enjoying the aroma and cheesy goodness.
