Step-by-Step Instructions for Pizza Grilled Cheese
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of softened salted butter with 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano until well combined. Set aside.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread buttered side down in a preheated skillet. Layer with provolone cheese, pepperoni, 1-2 teaspoons of pizza sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Flip the sandwich after 3-4 minutes when golden brown, and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Once both sides are golden and cheese melted, remove from skillet, allow to cool for a minute, then slice in half and garnish.
