- In a medium saucepan, melt ¼ cup of butter over low heat, stirring gently to ensure it doesn’t burn. Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat, then add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir until the chocolate chips melt into the marshmallow mixture.
- Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to the chocolate-marshmallow mixture and quickly fold the cereal into the mixture until evenly coated.
- Allow the mixture to cool for about 5 minutes, then lightly coat your hands with butter or nonstick spray and shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Once shaped, place the balls on a piece of wax paper to set and chill for about 20 minutes for a firmer texture.
