Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your donut pan by greasing it with coconut oil or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Crack the eggs into the bowl and pour in the maple syrup, stirring until the mixture is smooth and cohesive.
  4. Fill a plastic baggie with the batter, snipping off a corner, and pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Remove the donut pan from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before flipping to release the donuts.
  7. For optional glazing, melt dark chocolate and dip the tops of cooled donuts.
