Preparation Steps
- In a large skillet, heat over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning over the browned beef, then pour in 1/4 cup of water. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Warm flour tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds per side or quickly in the microwave by wrapping them in a damp paper towel for 15-20 seconds.
- Lay the warm tortillas flat and place a scoop of cooked rice in the center of each. Add seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, shredded cheddar, and a dollop of sour cream. Optional toppings can be added.
- Fold the sides of the tortillas inwards and roll them tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring fillings are secure inside.
- In the same skillet, place the burritos seam-side down. Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side over medium heat until golden and crispy.
- Remove burritos from skillet, let cool for a minute, then serve hot with salsa or guacamole.

Notes
Warm tortillas before assembling to prevent cracking. Don't overfill the burritos and adjust taco seasoning to taste. Make-ahead convenience allows for easy weeknight dinners.
