Preparation
  1. Begin by gently pounding the boneless skinless chicken breasts to a uniform thickness of ¾ inch, ensuring even cooking.
  2. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, paprika, minced garlic, and lemon juice mixed with olive oil.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinate for about 10 minutes while gathering remaining ingredients.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  2. Carefully place the marinated chicken into the pan and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  3. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Warming Pitas
  1. While the chicken is resting, warm the pita bread in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side, or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for about 20 seconds.
