Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Roll out your pie crust and place it in the greased dish, pricking the bottom with a fork. Blind-bake for 7-8 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then mix in ½ cup of pizza sauce.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the bottom of your crust. Layer half of the meat mixture, followed by half of the pepperoni and cheese. Repeat these layers.
- Bake the assembled pie uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Cover edges with foil if they darken too quickly.
- Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
