Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Cook the rice by boiling chicken broth and salt, then stirring in rice and simmering until tender.
  4. Make the sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, then gradually adding milk and broth until smooth.
