Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until just al dente, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk with seasoning. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese until combined.
  5. Carefully fold in the cooked pasta, ensuring it's coated with the creamy mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese and bacon if using.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  8. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions if desired.
