Method
 

Cranberry Layer Preparation
  1. Combine 2 cups of fresh cranberries, ½ cup of brown sugar, and ¼ cup of orange juice over medium heat. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Coffee Preparation
  1. Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and mix in 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar until dissolved. Allow to cool.
Whip the Cream
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
Mascarpone Mixture
  1. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup of mascarpone cheese and 2 large egg yolks until smooth. Fold in whipped cream in two batches.
Assemble the Tiramisu
  1. Dip ladyfingers in cooled coffee for 2-3 seconds. Layer half in the serving dish, followed by half of the cranberry mixture and half of the mascarpone cream. Repeat layering.
Chill and Set
  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Dust with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings before serving.
