  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder fresh baking powder is key
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour can substitute with 1:1 gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup Sprinkles colorful and fresh

  • 1/2 cup Frosting for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips optional

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, cream together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add cake batter extract.
  4. Sift in baking powder and salt, then gradually add all-purpose flour, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in sprinkles with a spatula.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough into balls and space them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Flatten each dough ball lightly with the bottom of a drinking glass.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are light golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
