Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot enough to bake the casserole evenly.
- Generously grease the inside of the baking dish with butter to prevent sticking.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until combined. Add maple syrup, sugar, cinnamon, and salt, mixing until smooth.
- Cut the frozen (or fresh) waffles into cubes and gently fold them into the egg mixture along with the blueberries.
- Carefully pour the waffle and blueberry mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes until golden-brown and the center is set.
- Allow the casserole to cool for about 10 minutes before serving, optionally dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes
Soak waffle cubes in the egg mixture for 5-10 minutes for a softer texture. Prepare the casserole the night before for easy baking in the morning. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
