- Prepare Cherry Syrup: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cherries, sugar, lemon juice, and Amaretto. Cook for 5-7 minutes until syrupy. Let it cool.

- Make Mascarpone Filling: Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.

- Prepare Espresso Mixture: Mix cooled espresso with Amaretto in a shallow dish.

- Layer Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in espresso mixture, layer them in a dish, then add mascarpone filling followed by cherry syrup. Repeat layers.

- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
