Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar until fully combined. Let the mixture sit for about 2 minutes.
  2. Slice the ciabatta roll horizontally into two halves. Toast both cut sides in a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Spread the prepared sauce generously on both toasted halves of the ciabatta roll.
  4. Place slices of turkey or ham on the bottom half of the ciabatta roll.
  5. Top the meat layer with slices of provolone cheese.
  6. Layer roasted red peppers and fresh spinach over the cheese, adding optional slices of tomato and avocado if desired.
  7. Sprinkle freshly cracked black pepper over the fillings and place the top half of the ciabatta roll on top.
